Placing Grid over timeline band

I would like to place a grid over the top of the timeline band. Basically I am trying to use this for a type of schedule display.

Can you suggest a way to put a grid over the band? Basically it would be a datagrid where the columns would line up to the date columns on the band.

I have implemented weeks for your timeline and I would like a datagrid column for each week.

Can you give an image of what you are trying to achieve?

I can not paste images into this forum.

Basically, what I am trying to show is a project schedule.

So, the timeline would have a range from 1/1/2009 to 12/31/2012.

On the timeline would be a grid. One row on the grid would correspond to data for one project. Let's say I want to see what is going on at 2/15/2010. I would scroll sideways on your timeline to that area and I would find the row in the grid which would show data for a specific project. It is basically just a fancy way to see a schedule.

I have moved onto just using a grid for this. Thanks for your help.
