Hello,

Is there a way where i can put the bands on top of the timeline or canvas and not at the bottom?
I tried to edit this in the style of the DefaultTextItemTemplate and in the style of the VisibleDatesPart but i didn't work. Is there a solution?

When displaying many items sometimes the time labels disappear from the band.
This (I imagine) is a rendering issue down to the number of items on-screen/cached off screen.

I am having the same problem. Just using a band for milliseconds with a short range.
It won't display the numbers until 24 ms and the numbers disappear sometimes.

It appears that the issue is down to displaying very small periods of time for MinDateTime and MaxDateTime.

I'm using this control to show a timespan of only 3 hours. The time period isn't a real DateTime, It's the timeline of a film. So I'm using dates from 0001/01/01 00:00:00 to 0001/01/01 03:00:00.
Displaying a short timespan like this appears to cause the rendering issues.

The issue can be reproduced in MainWindow.xaml of the WpfTimelineExExample project. Just by changing the Min/Max dates to something small (like above).

It would be a nice addition to be able to fix a band in place showing the full date range and all events contained within it.

It would ideally have a translucent box as it does at the moment. Except the box would scroll from side to side instead of the band it's self.

When I resize the timeline some grey vertical bars appear that should not be there. They strech over the main band all the way through the other bands. I am attaching a picture of how that looks.
This can be reproduced with the sample application WPFTimelineToggleBands. Just start it and resize the window until you see the grey bars.

The grey bars can still be reproduced with the current release. Only if one band is active, I was unable to repro the issue.
Start the WPFTimelineToggleBands sample application, activate Decades and Years as active Bands. Zoom with Ctrl+Mousewheel and try to fit many of the events to the visible area. Soon you will see the grey bars again.

Thank you very much. I was able to try it out today. It does work. However, the resize seems much slower now. But the zoom feature seems to be a lot faster.

I am reporting a Bug, hopefully it is an official bug if not, then it should be ignored.

I am resizing then loading thumbnails into the timeline band, for the user interface I would like to only show just the timeline band with the thumbnails. But if I re-size the time line Tray and give it a smaller height, the thumbnail images and the time and dates under the images disappear. If I can get the TimelineTrayEx to be the same size of the band and its images so it can be embedded easily into the user interface as a timeline of thumbnails with dates.

Would appreciate any help on this issue

Hi, i must say that thsi control is awesome, i am testing the latest build of the ssource code in wpf, i use it to show lot's of events, but i have a partircular thing that is i have each event in one row, one of the things ist o set the maxeventheight so i can always have the same row height for each item. well all is good when i have a small amount of events, but when i have a lot events it brakes the CalculateEventRows()

The rowCount = (int) ((PixelHeight - TOP_MARGIN - BOTTOM_MARGIN) / m_maxEventHeight); makes that the array of dates be like for example 20 items, and then the e.rowoverrrider is higher that the number of row count so it brakes here with this error "Index was outside the bounds of the array."

I think i understand that the problem is that there isn't space to show more rows right? so the solution is do a way to do vertical scroll on the timeline and create all the events ? i can give mroe feedback if u need. I can be erached on my email address also.
