How to kep the line with the dot on top when overriding the DefaultEventTemplate

Hi,

I want to override the default event template but not lose the line, with a dot on the top (left of the event rectangle), that points to the specific position of the event in the band.

e.g.

I have ItemSourceType="minutes10" set on the main band.

If an event happens between minutes 10 & 20 then by default I see the line with dot next to event text pointing to a point between 10 & 20.

If I override the DefaultEventTemplate, I lose this line and just see the event text.

I looked at the DefaultEventTemplate in the Generic.xaml and I do not see where the "line with the dot on top" is being drawn.

Please help.

Thanks,

Hi klimaye,

I got a further question for editing the DefaultEventTemplate.

If I edit this template in the TimelineStyle.xaml it has no effect. The events still look like befor editing...

How or where have I to make changes to edit the event appearance?

Thanks for helping,

Simon
